History and Vision
Homewood Renaissance Association (HRA) was formed by the House of Manna, a new Presbyterian church for everyday people, as a response to voiced community concerns beyond what the church could address. It is supported by committed volunteers from churches in the Pittsburgh area, and is advancing change through integrating the services of non-profit partners.
The mission of HRA is to improve the quality of life for community residents by creating critical need programs and aligning and enhancing the efforts of other area organizations.
Our Core Values
HRA is dedicated to closing the poverty gap in Homewood and working to affect the areas that bring positive long term systemic change by collaborating with others. Our core values are integrity, humility, accountability, excellence, teamwork, and respect for the dignity of others.
